Apple’s latest iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max officially went on sale in India on September 18, with large crowds gathering outside Apple Stores in Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru.
Customers began arriving hours before opening time, with some even waiting overnight. At Mumbai’s store, one buyer reportedly joined the queue around 10 PM the previous night, while customers in Bengaluru were seen waiting from around 5 AM.
The physical Apple Stores opened at 8 AM and are scheduled to remain open until 10 PM on launch day to handle customer demand. The new Pro models are also available through Apple’s online store and other retail channels.
In India, the iPhone 18 Pro starts at ₹1,64,900, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max starts at ₹1,79,900 for the 256GB variants. Higher-storage versions go beyond ₹3 lakh.
The launch-day rush highlights the strong interest surrounding Apple’s latest premium smartphones, with many existing iPhone users choosing the new models as part of their annual upgrade.
