AI’s Trillion-Dollar Bet: Can Productivity Gains Arrive in Time?

India’s entertainment-tech startup Eloelo Group is expanding its presence in the artificial intelligence space with the launch of Dolphin AI, a new AI-powered video production platform designed to take creators from a written script to a complete multi-shot video.

Unveiled at FICCI FRAMES 2026 in Mumbai, Dolphin AI is positioned as more than a conventional text-to-video generator. The platform aims to bring scripting, production planning, video generation, editing and enhancement into a single AI-driven workflow.

From Script to Video With AI

One of Dolphin AI’s key features is its Film Studio, which is designed to analyse a script and transform it into a structured video production.

The system can examine elements such as the story, tone, chronology and character development before identifying important production components, including characters, locations and props.

Creators can then establish reusable visual, voice and wardrobe assets before moving into production. This approach is designed to address one of the biggest challenges with AI-generated video: maintaining consistency from one scene to the next.

Solving the AI Video Consistency Problem

AI video generation has advanced rapidly, but creating longer, coherent productions remains difficult. Characters can change appearance, locations may shift unexpectedly and visual styles can become inconsistent between shots.

Dolphin AI focuses heavily on this problem.

According to Eloelo, its multi-shot planning and continuity technology is designed to maintain consistency in characters, voices, wardrobes, props, locations and visual style across multiple scenes. Its agentic production layer can also interpret creative intent and break longer projects into individual shots and production tasks.

Built From Eloelo’s Own Content Experience

Eloelo says Dolphin AI was developed to solve challenges within its own large-scale video production workflow.

Through its Story TV platform, the company has produced more than 5,000 original dramas and tests more than 100,000 creative assets every month, according to the company and launch coverage.

That experience provided a real-world environment for developing and testing AI-powered production workflows before opening the technology to external users.

Multiple Ways to Create

Dolphin AI provides several interfaces aimed at different types of creators.

Chat allows users to describe what they want using natural language, while Templates provide guided production workflows. Playground offers more detailed shot-level control, and Film Studio is designed for larger script-based productions.

The platform also combines editing and enhancement capabilities, allowing users to work through multiple stages of production within the same environment.

Targeting Creators, Brands and Studios

Eloelo is opening Dolphin AI to a broad range of users, including individual creators, filmmakers, brands and professional studios.

Potential applications include advertising, product videos, micro-dramas, podcasts, cinematic projects, user-generated content, AI avatars and animation.

The bigger opportunity is to make sophisticated video production accessible to smaller teams that may not have traditional production budgets or large creative departments.

AI Could Change the Economics of Video Production

The launch comes at a time when AI-generated video is becoming increasingly important for the global creator economy.

Traditional video production can require writers, directors, actors, editors, camera crews, designers and post-production teams. AI tools could potentially reduce the time and resources required for some of these processes.

However, the biggest opportunity may not simply be producing videos more cheaply. It could be enabling creators to experiment faster.

A creator could test multiple concepts, storylines and visual styles before committing significant production resources. Brands could potentially produce more personalised content, while entertainment companies could experiment with new formats and languages.

India’s Growing AI Video Ambition

Eloelo’s move also highlights the growing ambition of Indian technology companies in generative AI.

Rather than building only consumer-facing applications, startups are increasingly developing AI infrastructure and creative tools aimed at global markets.

Eloelo CTO Sagar Gaonkar has argued that rapidly evolving AI models make it difficult to build a product around a single model. Instead, the company sees the broader creative system and workflow as the product. Dolphin AI also supports the Model Context Protocol, allowing compatible AI clients such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Cursor to access its image, video and voice capabilities within agentic workflows.

What Comes Next for AI Video?

Dolphin AI enters a rapidly expanding market where competition is intensifying among AI video-generation platforms.

Its differentiation will ultimately depend on how well it can handle longer productions, preserve visual continuity and give creators sufficient control over the final result.

For now, the platform is available through an early-access programme, with users able to join through a waitlist or invite code.
